Crownies

Learned from Jennifer, who initially got the "Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie Oreo Brownie Bars" recipe from Pinterest.

Ingredients:

• Package of brownie mix
• Package of chocolate chip cookie mix (or make the original Toll House chocolate chip cookie mix from scratch, and if so, use a little less flour than normally)
• Package of Oreos

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven 350 degrees.  Line a 9x9 baking pan with wax paper or foil and spray with cooking spray.
2. Make the cookie dough and spread in the bottom of the pan (if using Toll House, only use half the batch)
3. Cover cookie dough with one layer of Oreo cookies.
4. Whip up brownie mix and pour evenly over the Oreo cookies.
5. Bake for 40 minutes.
6. Cool for 5 minutes and enjoy!  (Add ice cream to completely put this indulgence over the top!)

Jennifer made this several times for our family and it is very much enjoyed, especially right out of the oven!  She renamed this "Crownies."
