- 1 London Broil steak
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, smashed
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- We altered this recipe by adding some lemon juice to this.
Instructions:
- Combine marinade ingredients in a glass bowl and whisk together to combine thoroughly.
- Place London Broil steak in a large, re-sealable bag.
- Pour in the marinade and seal the bag, squeezing out as much air as possible and then place bag in refridgerator for 4 to six hours or overnight. Turn the bag at least once during that time to make sure all of the sides of the steak get some soy lovin'.
- Light your grill to high heat. Cook quickly on the hottest part of the grill over high, direct heat until medium-rare.
- With the lid open, grill 5 to 7 minutes per side.
- Once grilled for a total of 10 to 14 minutes, remove from grill and place on a cutting board and let rest for about 5 minutes.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the meat thin against the grain.
